Chris brings over two decades of inpatient & outpatient rehabilitation and three decades of sports training experience to ITP. With strong backgrounds in cardiovascular disease, risk factor management, exercise/fitness testing, and sports training. He is a skilled clinician and coach for all those looking for personal improvement and increase in learning self management to control health outcomes. His educational background is broad and spans the areas of cardiovascular physiology, exercise prescription, psychology of sport & exercise, nutrition, motor development & control, and biomechanics. He is excellent at building rapport with clients, athletes and colleagues in helping them to achieve better health outcomes and lifestyle goals. His interest areas focus around reducing overall risk of cardiovascular disease by optimizing daily activity, exercise habits, medication while keeping a balanced focus on nutrition, sleep, and stress management. For those sport and exercise minded clients he brings a strong promotion and ability to drive health and wellness goals, preventing illness and injury, restoring health, and helping athletes reach their potential in sports training and performance. Chris enjoys time with his wonderful family, serving his community and leading an active life of hockey, cycling, nordic skiing, hiking, and resistance training.
